Dear Edgewater Families,

The FCAT is here! I am confident that our students are well prepared to meet the challenges of this series of tests. Ninth, tenth and eleventh grade students will be testing on March 10th, 11th and 12th. As a parent, there are several things you can do to set your student up for success on testing days:

  1. Make sure your student get a good night’s rest. They will need to be alert to perform well.
  2. Provide a balanced breakfast. Research shows that proper nutrition will improve performance.
  3. Get your student to school early. By not rushing to class, students will be able to collect themselves and clear their minds before starting the test.

By providing these three items for your student, they will be fully ready to take on the FCAT! Thank you for your continued support and GO EAGLES!!!
