We are very pleased to announce a new school service that is one of the most exciting developments in the history of school education. This service has the potential to make a huge difference to your child’s experience of going to school. It can dramatically improve the learning process, and give you, the busy parent, an unprecedented opportunity to increase your active involvement with your child’s academic progress and future success.

What is it? It’s a breakthrough, new, easy-to-use website called K12Planet. It gives you and your children secure access to a copy of the school’s central information system, so you can see complete information that is specific to your child’s performance in class: grades, attendance, conduct, assignments, homework, scheduled events, and a vast array of other incredibly useful information. You will also be able to communicate with school staff online, whenever you need to. Here at Edgewater High School we are embracing K12Planet and offering it to our community because we see its potential to bring teachers, parents and students together in closer collaboration, making the demands of school life and continued study easier for the students – and you as a concerned parent!

K12Planet won’t cost you a penny and it can make a huge and measurable impact on your child’s success at school. K12Planet protects privacy. Rest assured that K12Planet is a private website for our school. Only people inside the community are authorized to “enter” K12Planet by using a user name and password.
